    Dear Dr,

I went for an ultrasound due to Pelvic pain and very painful period pain with back pain,
    my result shows:
Transabdominal and transvaginal scanning. uterus is bulky measuring 48x82x54mm. posterior wall has 3cm fibroid present. Endometrium normal at 9mm. ovaries normal with the right measuring 6.1cc and left 3.9cc. free fluid is present in the pouch of douglas. no renal images.
comment:scannning shows a pterior wall subserosal fibroid. unexplained free fluid in the pelvis.
I have been referred to a Gynaecologist, but 'm very worried.I'm 31 and recently got married and planning to have kids soon.
    Pls 'm so worried.

  2. please consult a gynecologist immediately. Your complaints need to be attended to by a gynecologist. However the scan should also be repeated if needed or you may email me photos of the scan images for opinion.
